The Canadian-built Civic has been Canada’s best-selling passenger car for 24 years. The 11th-generation Sedan, new last year, features a sporty exterior, a simple, clean interior, fun-to-drive dynamics and enhanced safety performance. There are no changes for 2023. The 2022 Civic was named Canadian Car of the Year by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada.
All Civic Sedans except the topline Touring come with a naturally aspirated, 158-hp 2.0L four-cylinder and a continuously variable transmission. The Touring brings additional power courtesy of a 180-hp, 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a CVT.
Civic LX comes standard with a 7-inch colour touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, push-button start, remote engine start, partial digital instrumentation, and LED headlights. The EX enhances the LX improvements with the addition of features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, one-touch power sliding sunroof, heated steering wheel and dual zone climate control. Sport takes it up a notch with bespoke 18-inch wheels with low-profile tires, black exterior accents, and a chrome exhaust finisher. Inside, Sport-specific seating surfaces, paddle shifters, sport pedals, and a new Sport driving mode are standard. The topline Touring receives a host of features, including a larger 9-inch colour touchscreen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Bose premium sound system, a 10.2-inch all-digital and customizable instrument display, front and rear parking sensors, Sport driving mode, wireless smartphone charging and LED fog lights.
There are four trim levels of Civic Sedan — LX ($26,835), EX ($29,150), Sport ($30,250) and Touring ($33,350).
