Following a refresh for 2022, Lincoln’s full-size luxury SUV sees few changes for 2023. There’s a new colour (Diamond Red), Fight Blue is deleted and the $3,000 Heavy Duty Trailer Tow Package (HDTT) now includes Electronic Traction Assist. With its imposing size and ultra-ritzy cabin, the Navigator treads the traditional Lincoln path of smooth, serene opulence.
The Navigator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6, making 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Automatic four-wheel drive is standard equipment. It’s a smooth and torquey drivetrain, moving the big brute out with ease. Navigator handling leans towards the floating, comfy end of the spectrum.
The Navigator is available in two wheelbase lengths. Both have the same passenger space in their three rows of seats, but while the regular Navigator has 592 litres of cargo space behind the third row, the longer Navigator L offers an impressive 1,019 litres, ensuring a full load of passengers can bring their luggage. Towing capacity is 8,300 lbs for the Navigator, and 8,100 lbs for the Navigator L.
Pricing for the 2023 Lincoln Navigator Reserve starts at $109,500, with the Reserve L bowing at $113,500.
