All the luxe and bling of the flagship Navigator SUV in slightly smaller form, the full-size three-row Aviator is Lincoln’s interpretation of American luxury — high-tech, comfy and powerful. All-new for the 2020 model year, the AWD Aviator receives only minor detail changes for 2023.
The Aviator Reserve is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 with 400 hp and 415 lb-ft of torque on tap. The engine is hooked up to a 10-speed automatic. The Aviator Grand Touring is a plug-in hybrid, the twin-turbo V6 gaining a 100-hp electric motor and a 13.6-kWh battery; total net system output is 494 hp and a stump-pulling 630 lb-ft of torque.
This large SUV offers an impressive list of standard features, including panoramic Vista Roof, hands-free power liftgate, wireless charging pad, first- and second-row premium leather seating surfaces and more. The powered tailgate opens to reveal 509 litres behind the third row, a deep and flat cargo bay that expands to 1,948 litres with the 60/40-split rear seat is folded. Aviator's Co-Pilot360 includes forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking and pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, automatic high-beams and a rear-view camera.
Pricing for the 2022 Lincoln Aviator Reserve starts at $73,400, with the Grand Touring PHEV costing $85,400. Additional luxury packages are available.
