2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Limited

Alongside the redesigned 2022 Silverado, last year’s 2021 model continues unchanged as the 2022 Silverado LTD (Limited). The styling gives it away, as the truck isn’t badged with the Limited name. Alongside regular trims, it includes three special editions of LT Trail Boss, RST Rally, and Realtree.

Performance

The Silverado’s four engines carry over to the Limited. There’s a 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder making 310 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque; 5.3L V8 with 355 hp and 383 lb-ft; 6.2L V8 making 420 hp and 460 lb-ft; and 3.0 I6 turbodiesel with 277 hp and 460 lb-ft. The 2.7L mates to an eight-speed automatic, while all others use a ten-speed.

Practicality

The truck comes in Regular Cab with 8-foot bed; Double Cab with 6-foot-6 bed; and Crew Cab with 6-foot-6 or 5-foot-8 bed. Maximum towing capacity is 13,300 lbs. All trim levels can be optioned with a Multi-Flex six-position tailgate. Features like adaptive cruise control, emergency front braking, blind spot monitoring, and front and rear parking assist are available.

Value

At a starting price of $32,648, the Silverado Limited offers an almost-up-to-date truck that still has an impressive number of available features, but could be more budget-friendly for many.
