Slotted between the Equinox and Traverse, the 2023 Blazer receives refreshed styling, with a new front fascia, new grille, new LED headlights and running lamps and new taillights. A 10-inch centre screen is now standard. The model range includes base LT, plus True North, sporty RS, and up-level Premier.
The base Blazer LT is powered by a standard 228-hp, 2.0L turbo four-cylinder, with 258 lb-ft of torque. A 3.6L V6 is available as an option on the LT, standard for the rest of the lineup. It puts out 308 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. Both direct-injected engines feature intelligent stop/start technology that shuts off the engine when power is not needed, and both are hooked up to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
All-wheel drive is now standard across the lineup. Towing capacity is 4,500 pounds (2,041 kg) with the V6. Standard features include an infotainment system with a 10-inch colour touchscreen. Wireless charging is standard on the RS and Premier, available on the LT and True North. Chevrolet Safety Assist is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator, forward collision alert, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams.
The 2023 Blazer ranges from $41,053 for the LT to $50,573 for the Premier.
