GM’s iconic pony car’s last comprehensive mid-cycle refresh was 2019, with new front-end and rear-end styling. There are no appreciable changes to the Camaro for 2023. Offered in multiple versions of LS, LT and SS trims, along with the mighty ZL1, all Camaros are available in coupe and convertible form.
The LS and LT come standard with a 275-hp, 2.0L turbo four-cylinder and six-speed manual, and the LT can be optioned with an available 335-hp, 3.6L V6. The SS ramps things up with a 6.2L LT1 direct-injected small-block V8 rated at 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque. The 10-speed automatic includes lift-foot gear hold, Tour, Sport and Track modes, custom launch control and line lock. True motorheads will gravitate to the ZL1 and its 650-hp LT4 supercharged 6.2L V8, bolted to either a six-speed manual with Active Rev Match or the 10-speed paddle-shift automatic.
Camaro offers Chevrolet’s next-generation Infotainment 3 with systems that provide a more personalized experience and a more intuitive interface. Their functionality mimics the latest smartphones and tablets, and cloud connection designed to enhance personalization, available navigation, voice recognition, apps and more. The standard system features a seven-inch-diagonal colour touchscreen. An eight-inch diagonal touchscreen running Infotainment 3 is available, including one with navigation.
There is a broad range of price, powertrains and trims offered for the Camaro, ranging from $30.548 for the 1LS Coupe to $83,648 for the ZLI Convertible.
